EMG EMG-TM SET - Tom Morello Signature Humbucker Pickup Set - BLACK

Few guitarists in history have approached the originality Tom Morello exudes with his guitar playing. Whether he is riffing, soloing, or creating sound effects with his guitar, his playing is always distinctly his own. Since the late 80’s, the foundation for his singular sound has been the EMG 85 and H pickups loaded in his iconic “Arm the Homeless” guitar. This guitar has been featured in every recording and live show he has played since the late 80’s.

To honor that history, this unique pickup combination has been immortalized in the Tom Morello Signature TM Set. With the EMG 85 in the bridge, there is plenty of punch and output for all types of rock and metal. The 85 has a muscular low end and midrange without sacrificing its articulate and controlled highs. The EMG H for the neck position is the EMG S disguised as a humbucker, giving players the ability to get iconic strat sounds in guitars routed for humbuckers only. This combination comes together to create a versatile and unique setup, whether you are riffing to Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, or shredding whammy pedal solos. The TM Set comes complete with the classic EMG logos so it is a perfect match to the set in Tom’s iconic guitar.

Like all EMG products, this set includes the solderless wiring system for simple installation. Make sure to check the instructions for pickup measurements before purchasing to compare your existing pickups with EMG models.
