Description
The
Custom Custom humbucker delivers that familiar alnico 2 warmth, along
with the rich midrange harmonics of a hotter pickup. The result is a
humbucker that sounds full, and sweet, and has a warm lower midrange
growl that really brings chords to life. The Custom Custom has a fatter
treble response than any other pickup, and that gives solos a round,
sweet, singing quality. Great for adding fullness and warmth to any
humbucker equipped instrument. Pair with the Jazz model, or Pearly Gates
model in the neck for a balanced, versatile setup. Hand built in Santa
Barbara, CA, the Custom Custom model uses an alnico 2 bar magnet, nickel
silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options,
and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.

Description
The
Alnico 2 Pro Humbucker uses the soft treble attack and low string pull
of an alnico 2 bar magnet, combined with a special vintage output coil
wind to create a warm, sweet tone that is smooth and full, with tons of
natural sustain. The highs will really sing, and sound thick, while the
lows will be warm and buttery, giving you a pickup that is very
sensitive to pick attack. For over 25 years Slash has been the champion
of this pickup, and used them exclusively on Appetite for Destruction,
which has gone on to become the biggest selling debut album of all time.
Pair with the Alnico 2 Pro bridge model for a perfectly matched set.
